The Department of Health (HEALTH) has determined water quality at North Kingstown Town Beach to be unsuitable for swimming due to high bacteria counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the areas are safe for swimming.
The following licensed beaches remain closed to swimming: Fort Adams State Park, Goddard Memorial State Park Beach, Conimicut Point Beach, Oakland Beach, and City Park Beach.
