Interstate Highway Restrictions
Interstate Closure
Pawtucket: I-95 North at Exit 27 (Downtown), highway closed for construction, Tuesday from 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. Follow detour using Exit 27.
Exit and Ramp Closures
Pawtucket: I-95 North at Exit 28 (School St.), exit closed for construction, Tuesday from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.
Pawtucket: The George St. on-ramp to I-95 North will close for construction Sunday and Monday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-95 North at Exit 23 (Rte. 146), State Offices exit closed for construction, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. Follow detour using Rte. 146 North.
Lane Closures
Lincoln/Cumberland: I-295 South, at Exit 8 (Rte. 2), alternating lane closures for construction, Sunday and Monday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Pawtucket: I-95 North, from Exit 27 (Downtown) to Exit 29 (Broadway), various lane closures for construction, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-95 North & South at Exit 22 (Downtown/Rte. 6 & 10/Providence Place Mall), ramps narrowed for construction, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-95 North & South, at Exit 23 (Rte. 146), alternating lane closures for construction, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-195 West, from Exit 3 (Gano St.) to I-95, two right lanes closed for a bridge inspection, Monday from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-195 East and West, from I-95 to Exit 5 (Rte. 103/Warren Ave.), alternating lane and shoulder closures for a bridge inspection, Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. In case of rain, the inspection will take place on Thursday night.
Providence: I-195 East, from I-95 to Exit 5 (Rte. 103/Warren Ave.), alternating lane and shoulder closures, and a traffic shift on the ramp for Exit 2 (India St.) for a bridge inspection, Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Warwick: I-95 South & North, from Exit 15 (Jefferson Blvd.) to Exit 9 (Rte. 4), alternating lane closures for construction, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
