The Washington County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Ronald Bachand with two counts of first degree child molestation and two counts of second degree child molestation. It is alleged that on or about May 29, 2011, Bachand molested a person 14 years of age or under, with the molestation being in the first and second degree. The alleged molestation took place in Exeter. The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation.
Bachand is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on August 29, 2011. He is currently out on $30,000 with surety bail.
