At 6:45 PM, Troopers arrested Jason Choiniere, age 42, of 67 Lilac Street, Cumberland, RI for a Six District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the charge of Fraudulent Checks (greater than $1000) originating out of the Cumberland Police Department. Arrest was the result of an investigation at State Police Headquarters and Troopers responding to the residence (67 Lilac St., Cumberland) where Choiniere was taken into custody without incident. Subject was transported to Headquarters, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution.
At 2:54 AM, Troopers arrested Scott Dauphinais, age 41, of 33 Eddy Street West Warwick, RI for a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment review on the charge of Driving on a Suspended License, originating out of West Warwick Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to Headquarters, processed and then transported to the Adult Correctional Institution.
