At 10:07AM, Troopers, arrested David Steger, age 37, for 1.) Affidavit & Arrest Warrant out of the Warwick Police Department for Violation of Restraining Order 2.) Affidavit & Arrest Warrant out of the Warwick Police Department for Violation of a No Contact Order 3.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Possession of Marijuana out of the State Police Hope Valley Barracks and 4.) Fourth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on an original charge of Simple Domestic Assault out of the North Kingstown Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Carpenter Street in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
At 10:46PM, Troopers, arrested Phillip Yates, age 43, of 70 East Street West Warwick for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay hearing on the original charge of DUI/First Offense from Coventry Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Brookside Avenue in the Town of West Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and was later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution-Intake Center.
