The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Christopher James, age 46, with one count of domestic murder.
It is alleged that on or about February 27, 2013, James stabbed and killed his ex-wife Terry Chiodo on a RIPTA bus in the area of West Main Road, Portsmouth. The Portsmouth Police conducted the investigation. James, who has been held without bail since his arrest, is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on July 22, 2013.
