2013 School Safety Conference
The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency is pleased to host the 3rd Annual School Safety Conference on November 1, 2013. The event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located on 801 Greenwich Ave in Warwick, RI. The conference is designed to enhance school safety awareness and highlight issues and best practices in disaster management. Topics for this year's event are centered on Rhode Island Legislative changes in school safety, the School Emergency Planning process and School Safety Protocols. In addition, the conference will provide an overview of available training opportunities targeted for personnel in the education arena. The target audience includes Crisis/Response Team Members, School Principals and Faculty, District Administrators, First Responders, School Resource Officers, and other related personnel.
Conference Details: Registration – 7:50am – 8:40am Conference – 8:45am – 1:00pm
