Interstate Highway Restrictions
Weekend
West Warwick: I-95 South, from Exit 8 (Rte. 2) to Exit 7 (New London Turnpike), left lane closed for maintenance, Saturday from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Exit Closure
Providence: Exit 21 (Atwells Ave.) off of I-95 South will be closed for drainage work at the Providence Viaduct, Sunday from midnight to 5 a.m. the following day. Follow detour using Exit 22.
Overnight
East Providence/Providence: I-195 West, from Exit 7 (Pawtucket Ave.) to Exit 2 (South Main St.), two left lanes closed for a bridge inspection, Monday and Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Hopkinton-West Warwick: Expect alternating lane closures on the Interstate and on and off ramps in a moving operation for roadway striping, Sunday-Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-95 South, from Exit 23 (Rte. 146) to just past Exit 21 (Atwells Ave.), right lane closed for construction at the Providence Viaduct, Sunday-Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Providence: I-195 East, just before and after Exit 2 (India St.), left lane closed for sign work, Wednesday night from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Providence: I-195 West, just after Exit 3 (Gano St.), right lane and shoulder closures for sign work, Wednesday night from 11 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. the following day.

East Providence: I-195 West, one mile before Exit 6 (Rte. 103/Warren Ave.), right shoulder closed for sign work, Monday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Pawtucket: I-95 South, just after Exit 30 (East St.), right shoulder closed for sign work, Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Providence: I-95 North, just before Exit 18 (Thurbers Ave.), right shoulder closed for sign work, Monday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Providence: I-95 South, just before Exit 24 (Branch Ave.), right shoulder closed for sign work, Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Providence: I-95 South, from Broad St. to the Point St. overpass, right shoulder closed for landscaping, Wednesday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Providence: The on-ramp from Rtes. 6/10 to I-95 South will be narrowed for excavation work at the Providence Viaduct, Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Warwick: I-95 North, just before Exit 10 (Rte. 117), right shoulder closed for sign work, Monday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Warwick: I-95 South, just after Exit 10 (Rte. 117), right shoulder closed for sign work, Monday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Warwick: I-295 North, from I-95 to Exit 2 (Rte. 2), left lane closed for construction, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
