Treasurer-Elect Magaziner Announces Additions to State House Staff

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Treasurer-Elect Seth Magaziner today announced several additions to his State House staff.

Shana Autiello will serve as Director of Communications. Autiello currently works at Matter Communications where she develops and implements public relations campaigns for corporate clients including large, publicly-traded companies. Prior to joining Matter, she worked as an account director at both Regan Communications and Duffy & Shanley. Autiello started her career as a publicist in the communications office of the RI General Assembly, a position she held for six years. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism & Communications Studies from Northeastern University.

Kelly Rogers will serve as Director of Policy. Rogers is currently the Manager of Policy and Public Affairs at Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council (RIPEC), where she manages analysis on state and municipal public policies. Prior to RIPEC, Rogers worked in the Washington, DC government relations office of Chesapeake Energy. Rogers was a research participant at United Nations climate change conferences in Denmark, Mexico and South Africa, and she earned a Bachelor's of Arts from Dickinson College and Master of Public Policy from Brown University.

Tom Sgouros will serve as a Senior Policy Advisor. Sgouros is an engineer at Brown University and a freelance writer and public policy consultant. Sgouros has consulted in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, California, and Vermont on public finance, banking, tax policy, and sustainable economic development. He has a Bachelors of Science in Physics, Mathematics and Political Science from Swarthmore College and a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design.

Charon Rose will serve as Director of Constituent Relations. Rose works at Women & Infants Hospital as a telecommunications operator where she has also represented her co-workers as an elected representative of SEIU Local 1199. Rose is active in politics serving as deputy field director on Jorge Elorza's campaign for Mayor, President of the Young Democrats of Rhode Island, and Co-Director of New Leaders Council RI. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Rhode Island College.

Chrissy Mullins Impagliazzo will serve as Executive Aide and Scheduler. Prior to joining Treasury, Mullins served as confidential assistant to Providence City Solicitor Jeff Padwa, as a paralegal, and as an account administrator at Tasca Automotive. She is a graduate of Community College Of Rhode Island.
