Interim Report of the Statewide Grand Jury (Reported January 26, 2015)

Andrew Clay, age 21 57 Henrietta Street Providence, RI P1-2015-0226A

The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Andrew Clay with one count of burglary, two counts of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, one count of conspiracy, and one count of driving without a license.

It is alleged that on or about dates between November 1, 2014 and November 30, 2014, Clay burglarized a home in Providence. It is further alleged that on or about the same dates, Clay was in possession of a stolen motor vehicle. On or about November 30, 2014, Clay was allegedly in possession of a second stolen motor vehicle and was driving without a license.

The Providence and North Kingstown Police conducted the investigation. Clay is currently being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on February 18, 2015.
