Interim Report of the Providence County Grand Jury (Reported March 27, 2015)

Julius Durant, age 36 77 Waterman Avenue Providence, RI P1-2015-0930A
Nicholas Foler (aka Edwin Arias, aka Nicholas Soler) age 26 100 Broad Street Providence, RI P1-2015-0930B

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Julius Durant and Nicholas Foler each with one count of conspiracy and one count of first degree robbery. It is alleged that on or about September 18, 2013, Durant and Fowler robbed an individual, with the robbery being in the first degree.

The alleged incident took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Durant and Foler are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 15, 2015.

Dennis Renaud, age 49 109 Montgomery Street Pawtucket, RI P1-2015-0931A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Dennis Renaud with one count of first degree robbery. It is alleged that on or about January 7, 2015, Renaud robbed an individual, with the robbery being in the first degree. The alleged incident took place in Central Falls and the Central Falls Police conducted the investigation. Renaud is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 15, 2015.

Carlos Encarnacion, age 29 151 Wendell Street Providence, RI P1-2015-0932A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Carlos Encarnacion with first degree robbery and conspiracy. It is alleged that on or about December 31, 2014, Encarnacion conspired with two unnamed co-conspirators to commit robbery. It is further alleged that Encarnacion did commit robbery.

The alleged incident took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Encarnacion is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 15, 2015.

Jean Avila, age 24 139 Valley Street Central Falls, RI P1-2015-0933A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jean Avila with first degree arson, intimidating a witness, simple assault and vandalism. It is alleged that on or about August 23, 2014, Avila set fire to a building located at 176 Valley Street, Central Falls. It is further alleged that on or about February 9, 2015, Avila intimidated and assaulted a witness to the arson. In addition, it is alleged that on or about the same day, Avila vandalized Capital Farms convenience store in Central Falls.

The Central Falls Police conducted the investigation. Avila is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 1, 2105.
