Deadline to register to vote in House District 33 Primary Election is this Sunday, April 5

Secretary of State Nellie M. Gorbea is reminding residents of Narragansett and South Kingstown that the deadline to register to vote in the May 5 Primary Election for House District 33 is this Sunday, April 5. State law requires voters to be registered at least 30 days before an election in order to be eligible to vote.

Because the deadline falls on a Sunday, voter registration forms will be accepted this Sunday at the Narragansett Police Department, 40 Caswell Street in Narragansett from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, and at the South Kingstown Police Department, 1791 Kingstown Road in Wakefield from 9 AM to 4 PM.
