CRANSTON, RI - The Woonsocket Division of Motor Vehicles at 217 Pond Street is closed effective June 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. due to an electrical outage affecting several thousand residents and businesses in the area.
The Woonsocket DMV is expected to reopen on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. if electrical service has been restored to the area.
All customers may utilize the other DMV locations in Cranston, Middletown, Warren, and Wakefield during this temporary outage.
AAA has offered their assistance today to go to any of their facilities for license and registration renewals only.
