The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Louis Sinapi with murder, larceny over $1,500, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (morphine and oxymorphone).
It is alleged that on a date between December 26, 2014 and December 30, 2014, Sinapi murdered John Fiore and stole his vehicle, a 2009 Chevy Impala. It is further alleged that on or about December 30, 2014, Sinapi was in possession of controlled substances, to wit, morphine and oxymorphone.
Sinapi is being held at the ACI for violating probation on an unrelated charge. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on July 8, 2015.
The Cranston Police investigated the murder and larceny charges, and the Johnston Police investigated the drug charges.
