Interim Report of the Providence County Grand Jury (Reported December 18, 2015)

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Shane Feix and Andrew Oliano with multiple counts of robbery, conspiracy, and assault, as well as weapons charges.

Feix is charged with six counts of first degree robbery, three counts of conspiracy, five counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of simple assault, and one count of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence.

Oliano is charged with four counts of first degree robbery, four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, three counts of conspiracy, and one count of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence.

It is alleged that on or about multiple dates from August 25, 2015 through September 23, 2015, Feix and Oliano committed a series of robberies and assaults throughout the city of Providence.

It is alleged that on or about August 25, 2015, in Burnside Park, Feix and Oliano assaulted an individual with a knife and robbed him. It is further alleged that on or about September 16, 2015, Feix encountered an acquaintance at Waterplace Park and, after a verbal altercation with him, Feix physically assaulted him. When the acquaintance's friend came to his defense, Feix allegedly physically assaulted him as well and stole a Patriots hat from them. It is further alleged that on or about September 17, 2015, Feix punched a female acquaintance in the face and stole her cell phone. It is additionally alleged that on or about September 18, 2015, Feix and Oliano held two individuals at gunpoint in Waterplace Park and robbed both individuals. It is also alleged that on or about September 23, 2015, Feix and Oliano, along with an unidentified male, were in the park across from the train station in Providence when Feix and Oliano, armed with a box cutter, assaulted and robbed an individual.

The alleged incidents took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Feix and Oliano are both being held without bail and are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on December 28, 2015.
