Joao Araujo (age 64) 27 Vivian Street Woonsocket, RI P1-2016-0138A
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Joao Araujo with two counts of first degree child molestation and three counts of second degree child molestation. It is alleged that on or about dates between June 1, 2015 and September 1, 2015, Araujo molested two girls 14 years of age or under. The alleged molestation took place in Woonsocket. The Woonsocket Police conducted the investigation. Araujo is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on February 3, 2016.
