Providence, R.I. -- The R.I. Division of Municipal Finance has completed calculations for the state aid disbursements incorporated in Governor Raimondo's proposed Fiscal Year 2017 budget, as well as revised disbursements for Fiscal Year 2016.
The tables released today include amounts for the following programs; Payment-in-Lieu-of Taxes (PILOT), the Distressed Communities Relief Fund, Municipal Incentive Aid, the Property Valuation Statistical Update, Aid to Local Libraries, Motor Vehicle Excise Tax Phase-Out, the Public Service Corporation Tax, the Hotel Local Tax and the Local Meals and Beverage Tax.
The report also includes a section devoted to education aid to local governments as calculated by the R.I. Department of Education.
