Henry Betances Chavez (age 20) 29 Tall Timber Trail North Smithfield, RI P1-2016-2406A
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Henry Betances Chavez with one count of first degree sexual assault and one count of third degree sexual assault. It is alleged that on or about February 12, 2016, in the Town of North Smithfield, Chavez sexually assaulted a female who was between 14 and 16 years of age.
The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Chavez is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on August 31, 2016.
