Interim Report of the Providence County Grand Jury (Reported September 29, 2016)

Rony Martinez Pereyra (age 44) 85 Lawrence St. Cranston, RI P1-2016-2870AG

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out and indictment charging Rony Martinez Pereyra with one count of possession of more than five kilos of marijuana, one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, one count of possession of a firearm while possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and one count of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl.

It is alleged that on or about July 7, 2016, in the city of Cranston, Rony Martinez Pereyra was in possession of more than five kilos of marijuana, fentanyl, and a .357 Magnum.

The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Martinez Pereyra is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on October 7, 2016.

Dayvon Fortes (age 19) 142 Harrison St., 2nd Pawtucket, RI P1-2016-2871A

Ahcheal Harris (age 20) 2 Kerosil Ave. East Providence, RI P1-2016-2871B

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Dayvon Fortes and Ahcheal Harris each with first degree robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and assault with a dangerous weapon.

It is alleged that on or about March 20, 2016, in the city of Pawtucket, Fortes and Harris robbed and assaulted an individual with a knife.

The Pawtucket Police conducted the investigation. Both defendants are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on October 19, 2016.
