The Providence County Grand Jury reported out a secret and sealed indictment on March 3, 2017 charging Jayquan Garlington and Bruce Moten each with murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the July 4, 2007 stabbing death of Darren Reagans outside the La Rumba nightclub in Providence.
The indictment was unsealed this morning in Providence County Superior Court when Garlington and Moten were arraigned before Superior Court Justice Luis M, Matos. Both defendants entered pleas of not guilty and were ordered held without bail. The next scheduled court date is April 5, 2017 for a determination of attorneys.
