Interim Report of the Kent County Grand Jury (Reported May 31, 2017)

The Kent County Grand Jury returned a secret and sealed indictment yesterday, May 31, 2017, charging Ryan Beeley and Mariah Ramos each with one count of second degree murder. The indictments were unsealed in Kent County Superior Court today when the defendants were arraigned before Superior Court Magistrate John F. McBurney. Both defendants pleaded not guilty and were ordered held without bail. Magistrate McBurney set a date of June 15, 2017 for a bail hearing for each defendant.

It is alleged that on or about February 21, 2017, Beeley and Ramos did commit second degree murder on their seven-month old child Willow Beeley.

Warwick Police conducted the investigation.
