Final Report of the Providence County Grand Jury (Reported March 2, 2018)

Brandy Diaz (age 18) 125 Chatham Street Providence, RI P1-2018-0454AG

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Brandy Diaz with one count of first degree robbery, three counts of conspiracy, one count of assault with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, one count of discharging of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, and one count of possession of a firearm without a license.

It is alleged that on or about January 24, 2018, Diaz and an unidentified co-conspirator shot an individual during a robbery. The victim suffered serious injuries.

The alleged incident took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Diaz is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on March 9, 2018.

Sandy Reyes (age 18) 567 Hunt Street Central Falls, RI P1-2018-0455AG

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Sandy Reyes with one count of assault with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, one count of discharge of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of possession of a firearm without a license, and one count of discharging a firearm in a compact area.

It is alleged that on or about January 15, 2018, Reyes, in possession of a firearm without a license, shot an individual at the Providence Place Mall.

The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Reyes is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on March 9, 2018.

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Deter Rodrigues, Kayla Williams, and Marco DaCruz each with one count of first degree robbery, two counts of conspiracy, and one count of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence. Rodrigues and DaCruz were also indicted on one count of assault with a dangerous weapon each.

It is alleged that on or about October 29, 2017, Rodrigues, Williams, and DaCruz carjacked an individual at gunpoint. During the carjacking, a struggle ensued during which Rodrigues fired a gun and DaCruz struck the victim with a motor vehicle.

The alleged incident took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Rodrigues and Williams are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on March 9, 2018. A warrant has been issued for DaCruz.

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Rudolph Osei, Ivan Babb, and Raymond Grundy each with two counts of first degree robbery, two counts of conspiracy, one count of assault with intent to commit robbery, and one count of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence. Babb was also indicted on one count of eluding police and Osei was indicted on an additional count of first degree robbery.

It is alleged that on or about June 24, 2016, Osei robbed an individual at Crossroads. Later that evening, it is alleged that Osei, Babb, and Grundy robbed at gunpoint the Nocera Liquor Store located on Smith Street in Providence. It is further alleged the three defendants attempted to rob the 7-Eleven on Atwells Avenue in Providence during the early morning hours of June 25, 2016 and that Grundy attempted to elude police.

The Providence Police conducted the investigation. All three defendants are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on March 9, 2018.

Jamie Rodriguez (age 19) 508 West Avenue Pawtucket, RI P1-2018-0459A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jamie Rodriguez with three counts of first degree child molestation. It is alleged that on or about December 8, 2015, Rodriguez molested a boy 14 years of age or under.

The alleged incident took place in Pawtucket and the Pawtucket Police conducted the investigation. Rodriguez is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 21, 2018.

Seamus Simcock (age 36) 113 Central Avenue Pawtucket, RI P1-2018-0460A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Seamus Simcock with two counts of first degree robbery and two counts of second degree robbery.

It is alleged that on or about August 23, 2017, Simcock robbed the TD Bank on Central Avenue in Pawtucket. It is further alleged that on or about September 5, 2017, Simcock robbed the Citizens Bank inside the Stop & Shop on Cottage Street in Pawtucket.

The Pawtucket Police conducted the investigation. Simcock is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 21, 2018.

William Hudgins (age 29) 342 Orms Street Providence, RI P1-2018-0461A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging William Hudgins with one count of second degree child molestation and five counts of first degree child molestation.

It is alleged that on or about dates between January 1, 2016 and November 23, 2017, Hudgins molested a girl 14 years of age or under on several occasions with the molestation being in the first and second degree.

The alleged incidents took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Hudgins is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 21, 2018.

Victor Rodriguez (age 34) 12 Sumner Avenue Central Falls, RI P1-2018-0462A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Victor Rodriguez with two counts of first degree sexual assault, three counts of second degree sexual assault, two counts of simple assault, three counts of first degree child molestation, and two counts of second degree child molestation.

It is alleged that on or about dates between September 21, 2016 and September 21, 2017, Rodriguez sexually assaulted a female know to him on multiple occasions. It is further alleged that during the same time, Rodriguez molested a female 14 years of age or under known to him on multiple occasions.

The alleged incidents took place in Central Falls and the Central Falls Police conducted the investigation. Rodriguez is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 21, 2018.

John Seal (age 57) 1245 Smith Street Providence, RI P1-2018-0463A

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging John Seal with one count of murder and one count of mutilation of a dead body.

It is alleged that on or about August 3, 2017, Seal murdered Judith O'Brien and then mutilated her body.

The alleged incident took place in Providence and the Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Seal is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 6, 2018.

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jalin Braxton, Kevin Furtado, and Belinda Braxton each with one count of first degree robbery and one count of conspiracy. Jalin Braxton and Furtado were both indicted with an additional count of simple assault.

It is alleged that on or about November 25, 2017, Jalin Braxton, Kevin Furtado, and Belinda Braxton conspired to rob an individual and did rob said individual, with the robbery being in the first degree. It is further alleged that Jalin Braxton and Furtado assaulted the individual.

The alleged incidents took place in Pawtucket and the Pawtucket Police conducted the investigation. The three defendants are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 21, 2018.

Cameron Magee (age 19) 9 Littlefield Street Pawtucket, RI P1-2018-0466A
Tengdeh Tamba (age 19) 896 Newport Avenue Pawtucket, RI P1-2018-0466B

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Cameron Magee and Tengdeh Tamba each with one count of burglary, one count of conspiracy, and one count of possession of burglary tools. Magee was also indicted on an additional count of resisting arrest.

It is alleged that on or about August 17, 2017, Magee and Tengdeh burglarized a home in East Providence. It is further alleged that they were in possession of burglary tools when they were apprehended by the East Providence Police.

The East Providence Police conducted the investigation. Magee and Tengdeh are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 21, 2018.
