At 7:31 AM, Troopers arrested Troy Daniel, age 25, of 4419 West Oklahoma Avenue, Tampa, Florida for Domestic Simple Assault. This arrest was the result of Troopers observing an assault in progress on Old Louisquisset Pike in the Town of Lincoln. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of Peace and released.
At 11:16 PM, Troopers arrested Jose Laboy, age 26, of 24 Winchester Street, Providence, RI for 1) Reckless Driving 2) Driving with a Suspended License – 10th Offense and 3) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Driving with an Expired License originating out of the State Police Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident on Charles Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for evaluation and later transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was held overnight pending a morning arraignment.
