Welcome to the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Underground Storage Tank payment service.
This online service enables you to pay for your underground storage tank registrations.
- Price per tank renewal: $100
- Price per tank renewal when including late fees: $135
Regulations adoped under RIGL 42-17.1, 46-12 and 46.13, Owners/Operators of Underground Storage Tanks shall pay an annual Registration Fee of $100 per tank. Rule 6.13 of the Regulations allows for the collection of Late Fees of $35.00 per tank per year for failure to pay the renewal fee within 45 days from the date of the original notice and renewal notification.
You will need the following to complete this application:
- A valid Rhode Island DEM UST facility identification number for each UST facility
- For Credit Card Payment: VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express credit card
- For eCheck (ACH Debit): Your checking account and bank routing number
