This system allows you to order:

  • Non-Divisible Single Trip Permits
  • Annual Blanket Permits to Move Non-Divisible Construction Loads
  • Annual Divisible Load Permits

ATTENTION: LAUNCH DATE SET FOR JUNE 16TH for new permitting portal! This WILL require new accounts to be setup. Training sessions will be done via teams meetings ahead of launch date. Questions, comments and suggestions can be sent to DOT.OSOW@dot.ri.gov

WASHINGTON BRIDGE RESTRICTION! I-195 East AND West over the Washington Bridge #200 is restricted to 48 TONS MAXIMUM WEIGHT. Oversize vehicles can now request to cross the bridge. Travel can ONLY occur between 11pm and 5am on Sunday, Monday or Wednesday nights. The requested time MUST be identified specifically in the permit AND through email to DOT.OSOW@dot.ri.gov or the permit will not be accepted.

Subscriber account holders will need to create new accounts in the new permitting system. This will be available upon launch.

The latest vehicle size and weight restrictions can be found www.dot.ri.gov/travel/truckrestrictions.php
A copy of the applicable restrictions list MUST be carried with all annual permits and permit vehicles.

The subscriber option is no longer available due to the upcoming transition to a new permitting system. The only option available currently is Pay as You Go.

Pay-as-You-Go Customer:

BEST OPTION FOR SINGLE BLANKET OR SINGLE ANNUAL DIVISIBLE LOAD PERMIT HOLDERS
You will need to pay for each permit with a credit card or eCheck (ACH Debit). Permit applications purchased by Pay as You Go customers are NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of approval.
