ARREST LOCATION: WARWICK
At 10:29AM, Troopers arrested Stephen Vezina, age 43, of 141 Grove Street, Providence, for Possession of Marijuana (3rd Offense). Arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and turned over to 3rd District Court for an arraignment.
ARREST LOCATION: CRANSTON
At 2:00 PM, Troopers arrested Carlo Rivera, age 38, of 18 Ruvhien Street, Dorchester, Massachusetts for Giving a False Document to a Public Official. Arrest was the result of Capitol Police taking the subject into custody for presenting a false document in order to obtain a Rhode Island drivers license. Rivera was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released pending future court date.
ARREST LOCATION: CRANSTON
At 2:20 pm Troopers arrested Brian S. Tillett, age 24, of 226 Dudley Street Providence, RI for 1.) 6th District Court warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on a driving on a suspended license charge originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Garfield Avenue in the City of Cranston. Tillett was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and then turned over to the ACI Intake Center.
ARREST LOCATION: LINCOLN
At 2:50PM, Troopers arrested Steven M. Silva, age 49, of 1754 Lonsdale Ave, Lincoln RI, for a 6th District Court Capias for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay, on an original charge of Operating with a Suspended License out of the Lincoln Police Department. Arrest was a result of Silva responding to the Barracks to file a complaint. Subject was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute.
ARREST LOCATION: LINCOLN
At 3:45PM, Troopers arrested Xavier Martinez, age 19, of 71 Herschell Street, Providence, RI for a 6th District Court warrant for Failure to Appear for Trial on an original charge of Simple Assault / Domestic out of the Providence Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 south prior to Mineral Spring in the Town of Lincoln. Martinez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Adult Corrections Institution Intake Center.
ARREST LOCATION: PROVIDENCE
At 5:20 pm Troopers arrested Dewayne Monteiro, age 26, of 33 Hanover Street #3, Providence, RI for a 6th District Court warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on a charge of driving on a suspended license out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the City of Providence. Monteiro was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and then turned over to the ACI Intake Center.
