At 10:43 AM, Troopers arrested Raymond LaPointe, age 35, of 235 Roberts Street, Woonsocket for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Lincoln Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Mendon Road in the City of Woonsocket. Subject was transported to Headquarters, processed, and transported to Third District Court for arraignment.
At 3:30 PM Troopers arrested Joseph Silva, age 39, of 128 Pine Hill Avenue, Johnston, RI for an Affidavit/Arrest Warrant originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Headquarters on the original charges of 1) Threatening/Harassing Phone Calls 2) Disorderly Conduct. Arrest was the result of an investigation of a complaint made to the barracks. Silva was taken into custody at his residence and transported to Headquarters to be processed. Subject was held overnight at Headquarters and was transported to 3rd DC in the morning for arraignment.
At 3:21 AM, Troopers arrested Indya M. Rivers, age 21, of 52 Glenham Street, Providence, RI, for 1) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty, 2) Driving After Suspension of License, a 3) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on the original charge of Reckless Driving out of the Cranston Police Department and a 4) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving After Suspension of License out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment .
