At 9:00 AM, a trooper arrested Jeremy Stefano, age 39, of 16 Denison Street Providence, RI for a 1) Superior Court Bench Warrant for an Attorney General Request 32F for an original charge of Receiving Stolen Goods >$500.00 originating out of the South Kingstown Police Department , 2) Superior Court Bench Warrant for an Attorney General Request 32F for an original charge of Felony Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 3) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Attorney General Request 32F for an original charge of Possession of I-V Controlled substance originating out of the South Kingstown Police Department and 4.) 4th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on an original charge of Receiving Stolen Goods > $500.00 originating out of the South Kingstown Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of Richmond. Stefano was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to Washington Cty Superior Court.
At 11:30PM, troopers arrested Derek Paquin, age 36, of 51 New London Avenue West Warwick for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear / Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of West Warwick Police Department. Arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and troopers subsequently responding to the above residence. Subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
At 11:30PM, troopers arrested Diane Salemi, age 46, of 51 New London Avenue West Warwick, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear / Ability to Pay on the original charge of DUI 1st Offense out of West Warwick Police Department. Arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and troopers subsequently responding to the above residence. Subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
