At 4:03 PM, Troopers arrested, Richard P. Chauvette, age 45, of 29 Tampa Street, West Warwick, RI for 1.) Violation of a No Contact Order-3rd Offense (Felony) and 2.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Attorney General Request 32F for the charge of Burglary originating out of the Warwick Police Department. This arrest was the result of a walk-in barracks complaint and subsequent investigation by Troopers LeValley, Marchand and members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Subject was transported the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Catalano, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution's Intake Center.
At 1:12 AM, Troopers arrested William J. Hull, age 28, of 42 Penn Street, Providence, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment for the charge of Driving Without/Expired License originating out of the State Police Wickford Barracks. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street, in the Town of West Warwick. Subject was transported the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution's Intake Center.
