On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 9:00 AM Troopers arrested John Medeiros, age 48, of 240 Central Avenue Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for the charge of Felony Assault. This arrest was the result of a Lincoln Woods Barracks investigation regarding an assault that occurred on a staff member at the Eleanor Slater Hospital on November 20, 2012, in the City of Cranston. Mr. Medeiros was habed into Third District Court for an arraignment and presented as a Superior Court Violator.
On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 10:05 AM a Trooper arrested Sension Jimenez, age 19, of 27 Sterling Avenue Providence, Rhode Island, for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Disorderly Conduct that originated from the Central Falls Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue in the City of Providence. Mr. Jimenez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and transported to Sixth District Court.
On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 10:24 AM, Troopers arrested Jason Almeida, age 36, of 382 Mishnock Road, West Greenwich, RI for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – 2nd Offense/.15 or greater. The subject consented to a Breathalyzer Test and the results are as follows: Phase I .365 and Phase II .369. This arrest was the result of a 911 caller contacting the Lincoln Woods Barracks and advising of a possible intoxicated operator and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and transported to Sixth District Court where he was arraigned and presented as a Bail Violator.
