At 2:00PM, Troopers arrested Kristen Smith, age 23, of 38 Gough Avenue, West Warwick, RI., on a Sixth Division District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on an original charge of Shoplifting from the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of Coventry. Ms. Smith was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released.
At 3:40PM, Troopers arrested Eric Cekala, age 32, of 299 Carolina Nooseneck Hill Road, Richmond, RI on a Fourth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Domestic Disorderly Conduct from the Rhode Island State Police Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to 229 Carolina Nooseneck Hill Road, Richmond, RI., to investigate a reported disturbance. Mr. Cekala was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
At 4:20PM, Troopers arrested Harold Conille, age 32, of 92 Wales Street Dorchester, MA., for 1.) Possession of Ecstasy, 2.) Possession of Marijuana-2nd offense 3.) Driving While in Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 4.) Operating on a Suspended License. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Mr. Conille was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released.
At 4:20PM, Troopers arrested Alexis Velez, age 22, of 108 Wentworth Avenue Cranston, RI., for 1.) Possession of Ecstasy and 2.) Possession of Marijuana. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Ms. Velez was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released.
At 1:43AM, Troopers arrested Franyeris Mercado, age 19, of 72 Gough Avenue, Apt. 77, West Warwick, RI., on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the State Police Wickford Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street in the Town of West Warwick. Ms. Mercado was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Women's Intake Center.
