At 2:08 AM, Troopers arrested Jerry Portman, age 35, of 200 Woodlawn Avenue Apt. #217 North Providence, RI for1.) Driving Under the Influence .08 or greater –1st Offense (Phase 1 –. 124, Phase 2 - .120 BAC) and 2.) Reckless Driving. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the Town of Exeter. Portman was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, held overnight pending an AM Arraignment in Third District Court.
