At 2:06 PM, Troopers arrested Jose Baulogne, age 27, of 39 Lonsdale Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for: a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License, originating out of the Cumberland Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street, in the City of Woonsocket. The subject was transported to the State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned, and subsequently released.

At 3:38 PM, Troopers, along with Johnston Police, Scituate Police and Foster Police, arrested Aaron Rugar, age 23, of Last Known Address 25 Hotchkiss Place, Torrington, Connecticut for: 1) Assault With a Deadly Weapon (Vehicle) 2) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle 3) Reckless Driving 4) 7 Counts of Leaving the Scene Damage to Attended Vehicle 5) Receiving Stolen Goods. The arrest was the result of a request for assistance from Foster Police, who were attempting to stop a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident in Foster. The suspect vehicle was located disabled on Hartford Avenue, in the Town of Johnston. Rugar was taken into custody by Troopers and the Johnston Police following a brief foot pursuit, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for complaints of pain, and subsequently transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed and held overnight pending an AM arraignment.
