On July 10, 2018, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Richard Holland, age 39, having a last known address of 35 Woodford Street Apt. 2, Worcester, Massachusetts, on two (2) counts of Indecent Solicitation of a Child. Mr. Holland was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and held overnight pending an arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.

On July 10, 2018, members of the Major Crimes Unit charged inmate Noel Torres, age 31, of 272 Hunt Street 3rd Floor, Central Falls, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Torres was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Torres was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions to await Massachusetts authorities.

On July 10, 2018, members of the Major Crimes Unit charged inmate Aaron Rugar, age 29, of 22 Hotchkins Trail, Torrington, Connecticut, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Connecticut. Mr. Rugar was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Rugar was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions to await Connecticut authorities.

On July 10, 2018, members of the Major Crimes Unit charged inmate Devin McKenna, age 22, of 53 Columbus Avenue, Apartment #3, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Mr. McKenna was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. McKenna was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions to await Massachusetts authorities.

On July 10, 2018, members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Anthony Jackson, age 24, of 17 Jewell Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Two counts of Felony Assault; 2) Two counts of Felony Assault with Intent to Commit Specified Felonies; 3) Two counts of Drive-By Shooting; 4) Two counts of Discharge of a Firearm from a Motor Vehicle; and 5) Two counts of License Required for Carrying a Pistol. Mr. Jackson was held overnight pending a morning arraignment in Sixth District Court.
