AG Kilmartin Collecting Winter Apparel for the Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket's Annual "Warm Hearts Coats & Stuff Drive"

While we hope the cold weather is some ways off, it's never too early to prepare for a cold, snowy winter. Recognizing that some Rhode Island families struggle to afford new coats, hats, and scarves, Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin is once again partnering with the Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket to collect winter apparel as part of the annual "Warm Hearts Coats & Stuff Drive."

Now through Friday, November 16th, the public can donate new or slightly worn winter coats, scarves, hats and gloves for children and adults at the Attorney General's new Customer Service Center, located at 4 Howard Avenue at the Pastore Complex in Cranston. The Office is open from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

"No one should ever have to go without a proper coat, hat and gloves during the winter," said Attorney General Kilmartin. "The simple act of donating a new or slightly worn coat, hat or pair of gloves helps keep our neighbors warm during the winter months. Thanks to the generosity of the staff and the public over the past few years, we have been able to provide hundreds of people with proper winter apparel."
