At 8:23 p.m., Troopers arrested Sandy De Burgo, age 36, of 1 Mary Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - B.A.C. Unknown - First Offense (Blood Results Pending). The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 138, in the Town of Jamestown. The subject was transported to Newport Hospital by rescue where she provided a blood sample, then transported to the State Police - Wickford Barracks where she was processed, and held overnight at State Police - Headquarters, pending morning arraignment at Second Division District Court.
