This service may be used to request a renewal of an Operator’s License, State ID, or Commercial Driver License
from the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles. You will be required to provide updated information regarding
your organ donor and voter registration status.
Your REAL ID status cannot be changed or updated using this service. For more information on REAL ID, please refer

an opportunity to verify this address before completing your request. If an address change is necessary, you may

form and mailing it to the Cranston DMV. Please allow 15 minutes for the address change to take effect before
trying your renewal again.
Upon completion of your renewal request, you will be able to print a receipt or have it e-mailed to you.
This receipt, along with your current License/ID/CDL, will be accepted for state and local law enforcement
purposes. If you do not have a printer or e-mail address, you may request a renewal, but no receipt will be
available indicating your request.
