Winning photos of the RI.gov photo contest will be displayed on the RI.gov homepage on a rotating basis during the contest months. Both amateur and professional photographers are welcome to participate. See Contest Rules for details.
How to Enter
Digital photos may be submitted using the online entry form. Each entry must be accompanied by a completed contest entry form. If you are submitting multiple entries, you will need to complete the entry form multiple times.
Photo Eligibility
To enter, you must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident. RI.gov employees and Board members and their immediate family members are no eligible to enter. Immediate family includes spouses, parents and children. All photos must be in color and taken in Rhode Island within the past three years. The photo subject matter must be relevant to one of the following contest categories.
Photo Categories:
All Photos must be Springtime photos in the following categories:
- Rhode Island Seascapes
- Rhode Island Landscapes
- Rhode Island Cities & Towns
- Rhode Island Nature
- Rhode Island Recreation
Photo Formats
Entries must be digital images. Pictures must be in JPG format.
