Governor Lincoln Chafee will travel to Matunuck to view damage on Matunuck Beach Road and Roy Carpenter's Beach. The Governor will arrive at approximately 9:15 a.m. (depending upon travel conditions).
Governor Lincoln Chafee will view storm damage and recovery operations in the Charlestown Beach Road area of Charlestown. The Governor should arrive at approximately 11:00 11:15 a.m., depending on road conditions.
Second- and third-shift state workers are advised to follow the Adverse Weather Policy in reporting for work later today. Workers may make individual decisions as to whether they are able to travel to work; those who do not report will be required to discharge personal or vacation time.
