On October 29, 2009 at 3:00 PM, Troopers arrested Joseph Thompson, age 40, of 2020 Elmwood Avenue, Warwick, RI for a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the cost review on an Armed Robbery charge out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Westminster Street in the City of Providence. Mr. Thompson was transported to the Scituate Barracks for processing, and turned over to the ACI Intake Center.
At 6:30 PM, Troopers arrested Kevin Smith, age 39, of 158 Pettaconsett Ave, Warwick, RI for a 3rd District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay on a Suspended License charge out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Webster Avenue in the City of Providence. Mr. Smith was transported to the Scituate Barracks for processing, and released after posting bail.
At 2:20 AM, Troopers arrested Kenneth C. Dupuis, age 33, 10 Mystic Ave East Povidence for DUI 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 North at Route 95 in the City of Providence. Mr. Dupuis was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released .
