On Friday, October 30, 2009 at 7:00 AM, trooper arrested John J. Rojas, age 24, of 607 Charles Street #11, Providence RI for 1.) Fraudulent Use of Credit Card (felony) and 2.) Conspiracy. Arrest the result of an investigation of a stolen credit card and the subsequent fraudulent use of the card. Subject turned himself in after an affidavit/arrest warrant was issued. Subject was processed and transported to 6th District Court for arraignment.

At 9:15 AM, trooper arrested Airton Monteiro, age 21, of 52 Centre Street, Pawtucket for 1.) 6th District Court warrant for Failure to Appear for ATP on the original charge of Possession of Marijuana. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Newell Avenue in the City of Pawtucket. Monteiro was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and then transported to 6th District Court.

At 9:30 AM, troopers arrested Justin N. Araujo, age 21, of 49 Oakdale Avenue, Pawtucket RI for 1.) Fraudulent Use of Credit Card (felony), 2.) Forgery and 3.) Conspiracy. Arrest the result of an investigation of a stolen credit card and the subsequent fraudulent use of the card. Subject was located at 362 Weeden Street, Pawtucket and taken into custody on the affidavit/arrest warrant. Subject was processed and transported to 6th District Court for arraignment.

At 1:15 PM, trooper arrested Joel Rivera, age 42, of LKA 128 Oak Street, Providence for 1.) Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of the trooper being flagged down by a store manager and observing two subject fleeing from the Family Dollar store on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Rivera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the ACI Intake Center.

At 1:15 PM, trooper arrested Ismael Rodriguez, age 44, of LKA 41 Dorchester Avenue, Providence for 1.) Shoplifting and 2.) Habitual Offender (Shoplifting). The arrest was the result of the trooper being flagged down by a store manager and observing two subjects fleeing from the Family Dollar store on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Rivera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the ACI Intake Center.

At 2:30 PM, trooper arrested Rebecca Lobao, Age 20, of 56 Bowdoin Street, Apt. 2, Providence, RI on a 3rd District Court Bence Warrant for FTA Status-Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a complaint made to the Lincoln Barracks. Lobao was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to the ACI, Women’s Intake Center.

At 3:30 PM, troopers arrested Angel Louis Deleon, Age 25, of 2229 Diamond Hill Road, Apt. I, Woonsocket, RI for a NCIC Warrant out of Phoenix Arizona for Kidnapping, 3 Counts Sexual Assault, Attempted Sexual Assault, 2 Counts Sexual Abuse. Arrest was the result of information received on subjects location. Deleon was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed and later transported to the ACI Intake Center, where he will be held pending extradition.

At 2:00 AM, troopers arrested Katherine Castillo, age 20, of 198 Adelaide Avenue, Providence on a 3rd District Court warrant for Failure to Appear / Ability to Pay on an original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Dept. Arrest the result of checking three suspicious individuals walking on Pavilion Street in the City of Providence. Castillo was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and transported to the ACI Women’s Intake Center.

There are no other arrests or incidents to report.
