On Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 9:30 AM, troopers arrested Shawn Sawyer, age 42, of 98 Dunnell Avenue, Pawtucket on a Superior Court Bench warrant for a 32F violation on an original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the Town of Lincoln. Sawyer was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed then transported to Superior Court.
At 11:00AM, troopers arrested Dwayne Williams, age: 19 of 38 Lawn Street, Providence, RI as a Fugitive from the State of Connecticut as a parole violator with a original charge of Robbery. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the city of Providence. The subject was transported to the barracks for processing and later arraigned at 6th District Court.
At 12:55 PM, troopers arrested Walter Reyes, aka Freddy Machuca, age 44, of 359 Carpenter Street, Providence as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of New Jersey for a Felony Narcotics Violation. The arrest was the result of information received by troopers from Hudson County Sheriffs Department in Jersey City and troopers response to subjects residence. Machuca was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace then transported to the Adut Correctional Facility.
At 4:15 PM, trooper arrested Deborah Debarros, age 53, of 575 Dyer Avenue, Building C-25, Cranston, RI for an active 6th District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Operating on a Suspended License. The arrest was the result trooper responding to the Attorney Generals Office on South Main Street in Providence. The subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, then transported to the Adult Correctional Facility, Women’s Intake.
