On Wednesday November 18, 2009 At 12:20AM, Troopers Pennington and Tilson arrested Elizabeth Guzman age 19, of 290 Beckwith Street Cranston on a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for arraignment on the original charge of Simple Assault, originating out of the Cranston Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bellevue Avenue in the City of Providence. Guzman was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later released upon posting cash bail before Justice of the Peace.
At 12:50AM, Troopers Pennington and Tilson with the assistance of Troopers Richardson and O’Neil arrested Oscar Marin age 31, of 30 Charlotte Street, North Providence for Driving Under the Influence 1st phase (.156) 2nd phase (.150). Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North in the City of Providence. Marin was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later released after being special arraigned by Justice of the Peace.
