At 10:00am Trooper arrested Fry,Benjamin age 29 of 142 Warrington St Providence for 1)Receiving Stolen Goods Under $500(plates). 2) Driving on a Suspended License. Arrest result of motor vehicle stop on Union Ave in Providence. Party transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing then taken to 6th District court for arraignment.
At 9:00 AM, Troopers arrested Ivane L. Petriashvili, age 53, of last known address 47 Fenwood Avenue, Pawtucket, RI for (1) Federal Immigration Violation Warrant for Failure to Appear for Removal, (2) Immigration Detainer. Arrest was the result of Troopers checking a disabled motor vehicle on Route 146 North at Admiral Street. Petriashvili was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and turned over to Bristol County Sheriffs Department.
At 11:30AM, Trooper arrested Gary Maddox, age 53, of 157 Benedict Street Providence RI for (1) Felony Assault/Use Device Similar To Firearm, (2) Carrying A Concealed Knife With A Blade Over 3”. Arrest the result of an assault that occurred at the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal. Maddox was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by J. P Finnegan and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution pending a bail review at 3rd District Court in the morning.
At 8:00PM, Trooper arrested Jennifer Wholey, age 19, of 116 Evergreen Street, Providence RI for 1. a 3rd District Court warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on an original charge of Simple Assault out of the West Warwick Police Department, and 2. a Providence Police Affidavit and Arrest warrant on the charge of Domestic Simple Assault. Arrest was the result of Trooper responding to the Adult Corrections Institution Intake / Visitor Center for a wanted party. Wholey was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and then turned over to Providence Police.
On Friday, November 20, 2009 at 12:52 AM, Troopers arrested Carlos Cortez, age 43, of 49 Liberty Street Central Falls for 1.) Obstruction, 2.) Operating without a License, 3.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the charge of Breaking and Entering buildings from Middletown Police and 4.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Suspended Sentence on the charge of Sex Offender Address Change from Pawtucket Police. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Lonsdale Avenue in Pawtucket. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing and was held overnight pending morning arraignment.
At 1:45AM, Troopers responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident on Route 10 North in the City of Cranston. As a result of the motor vehicle accident Troopers arrested Sonny Pham, age 19, of 22 Hartwell Street, Foxboro, MA for Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and or drugs/death resulting. (Phase 1 .091 and Phase .092) Subject was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and was held overnight pending morning arraignment.
