At 9:00AM Trooper arrested Keith Fordham, age 38, of 544 Dexter Street Providence, RI on a Superior Court warrant for failure to appear for cost review on breaking and entering of a building with felony intent charge originating out of Pawtucket PD. The arrest was the result of checking a suspicious male party at the Walgreen’s located on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Providence. Fordham was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and then turned over to Superior Court.
At 10:46AM Trooper arrested Lawrence D. Wacks, age 60, of 271 Freeman Parkway Providence, RI on a 6th District Court warrant for 32F conditions of probation violations on a original charge of possession of marijuana originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. Wacks was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and then turned over to 6th District Court.
At 3:16 pm Troopers arrested Sarai Ares, age 28, of 65 Ralph Street 1st floor Providence, RI for 1.) 6th District Court warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on 12/07/09 on a simple assault charge originating out of Providence PD. The arrest was the result of an investigation that originated from a motor vehicle stop on Valley Street in the City of Providence. Ares was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned before Justice of the Peace Finnegan and released.
At 6:30 PM, Trooper arrested Maria DePina, age 20, of 71 Olnet Street 1st Floor, Providence for 1) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment-Possession of Schedule V. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Providence. Subject processed at Lincoln Barracks and subsequently transported to the Women’s Intake Center.
At 9:45PM, Troopers arrested Jose Hernandez, age: 39 of 12 Bryant Street, Providence, RI for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol – 2nd Offense (1st Phase .143 and 2nd Phase 154). Arrest result of motor vehicle stop on the Airport Connector in Warwick. The subject was transported to the barracks for processing, arraigned by a JP then released to a friend.
At 10:15PM, Troopers arrested Jose Diaz, age 62, of 20 Kelly Street, Providence RI for Leaving the Scene of an Accident – Damage to Attended Vehicle. Arrest was the result of a hit and run motor vehicle accident that occurred on Interstate 95 South at Eddy Street in the City of Providence and Troopers locating Diaz at his residence in Providence. Diaz was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Iuliano and released pending future 6th District Court dates.
On Saturday, February 6 at 2:15AM, Troopers arrested Adelino A. Lopes, age 25, of 53 Bloomingdale Street, Pawtucket on a 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial on the original charge of Possession of Marijuana/Subsequent Offense originating from the Providence Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Humboldt and Lawn Street in the City of Pawtucket. Lopes was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported over to The Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
At 2:30AM, Troopers and Lincoln Police arrested Meghan McGrath, age 27, of 59 Old River Road, Lincoln RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – 1st Offense greater than .15, First Phase: .171BAC, Second Phase: 167BAC. 2.) Reckless Driving, Eluding – 1st Offense, 3.) 4th District Court warrant for Failure to Appear for Trial on an original charge of Disorderly Conduct out of the Lincoln Police Department. Arrest was the result of Troopers running into a pursuit by the Lincoln Police Department on Lonsdale Avenue at Route 95 in the City of Pawtucket and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Ledge at Jobs Street in the City of Providence. McGrath was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Iuliano, and released on $500.00 dollars cash bail.
