Corrections Director Ashbel T. Wall II has announced the promotion of Jack Vicino of Warwick, a 19-year veteran of the Department, to Correctional Officer Captain, effective December 12, 2010.
Captain Vicino is assigned to the John J. Moran Medium Security Facility. He has also worked at High Security, Maximum Security, and Women’s during his career.
At a brief badge pinning ceremony attended by colleagues and family on Friday, December 10th, Director Wall noted, “We would not make these decisions if we were not absolutely confident about your ability to assume command.”
