The Kent County Grand Jury today reported out indictments charging Joseph Addison and Joshua Laprade with one count of first degree robbery and one count of felony conspiracy.
It is alleged that on or about May 21, 2011, Addison and Laprade conspired to commit robbery, and did rob an individual, with the robbery being in the first degree.
The alleged events took place in Warwick and the Warwick Police conducted the investigation. Addison and Laprade are scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on December 2, 2011. Addison's bail was set at $75,000 with surety; he is currently being held at the Adult Correctional Institute. Laprade's bail was set at $5,000 with surety.

The Kent County Grand Jury today reported out an indictment charging John Prete with one count of first degree arson and one count of interfering with a fire alarm apparatus.
It is alleged that on or about August 6, 2011, Prete committed arson at The Hampton Inn, located in Warwick. It is further alleged that Prete unlawfully tampered with a public fire alarm apparatus.
The alleged events took place in Warwick and the Warwick Police conducted the investigation. Prete is scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on December 9, 2011, and is currently being held without bail.
