Providence, RI - To honor the memory of former Rhode Island Governor J. Joseph Garrahy, Governor Lincoln D. Chafee has ordered that all U.S. and Rhode Island flags across the state be lowered to half-staff until Governor Garrahy is laid to rest.
Governor Chafee's order applies to U.S. and state flags on all public buildings in the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.
