On March 2, 2012, at 6:45 AM, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Efrain Domenech, age 36, of 652 Central Avenue, Pawtucket, RI, as a Fugitive from Justice out of Attleboro, Massachusetts, on a charge of Delivery of Controlled Substance. Domenech was arraigned in Sixth District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings and was turned over to members of the Attleboro Police Department. The arrest was the result of an investigation by Detectives.
On March 2, 2012, at 8:45 AM, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Sean St.Louis, age 22, of 19 Woburn Street, Cranston, RI, as a Fugitive from Justice out of Boston, Massachusetts, on an original charge of Possession of a Firearm. St. Louis was arraigned in Sixth District Court, where he refused to waive extradition proceedings and bail was set at $20,000.00, double surety. This arrest was the result of an investigation by Detectives.
On March 2, 2012, at 12:00 PM, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Robert Palardy, age 53, of 103 Vernon Street, Warren, RI, as a federal probation violator. Palardy was turned over to officials at the United States Federal Court in Providence, RI. This arrest was the result of an investigation by Detectives.
On March 2, 2012, At 11:30 AM, Detectives charged inmate Anthony L. Fisher, age 31, 8 Highview Avenue, Apartment #2 Richmond, Rhode Island as a fugitive from justice from the State of Connecticut. Inmate Fisher was wanted by the Connecticut State Police-Montville Barracks for failure to appear on 1.) 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief, 2.) 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief, 3.) Attempt to Commit Larceny, 5th Degree. Detectives presented inmate Fisher before the Honorable Judge Montalbano of the Third Division District Court, where he waived extradition to the State of Connecticut. Inmate Fisher was remanded to the Intake Service Center of the ACI to await the Connecticut authorities.
On March 2, 2012,At 11:30 AM, Detectives charged inmate Louise A. DiStefano age 57 of 17 South Essex Drive Westerly, Rhode Island as a fugitive from justice from the State of Connecticut. Inmate DiStefano was wanted by the Connecticut Judicial Branch-Office of Adult Probation for violation of probation. Detectives presented inmate DiStefano before the Honorable Judge Montalbano of the Third Division District Court, where she waived extradition to the State of Connecticut. Inmate DiStefano was remanded to the Intake Service Center of the ACI to await the Connecticut authorities.
On Friday March 2, 2012 at approximately 11:00 AM, members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Rosemary Gendron, age 50, of 2134 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island for Receiving Stolen Goods O/$500.00. Ms. Gendron was returned to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and arraigned in front of Justice of the Peace John McCaffrey, bail was set at $5000.00 personal recognizance. The arrest was the result of an investigation by Detectives.

On Friday March 2, 2012 at approximately 6:30 PM, members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Derrick Santos, age 27, of 273 Vilna Street, Providence, Rhode Island, Larceny O/$500.00, and Conspiracy to receive stolen goods O/$500.00. Mr. Santos was returned to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and arraigned in front of Justice of the Peace John McCaffrey, bail was set at $5000.00 personal recognizance. The arrest was the result of an investigation by Detectives.
On March 2rd, 2012 at 5:15 PM Detectives arrested Rafael Blanco, age 28 of 161 South Clarendon St, 2nd floor rear, Cranston, RI for 1) Possession of Heroin 1 Ounce to 1 Kilo, 2) Possession of Heroin with Intent to Deliver, 3) Possession of Heroin, 4) Resisting Arrest, 5) Obstruction. Arrest was the result of an investigation by the HIDTA Unit. Mr Blanco was processed at the Linncoln Barracks and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Rogers , held without bail, and was transported to the Adult Correctional Institute.
