Updated List of Cooling Centers, June 21 9 a.m.

The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) announces that due to today's heat advisory, the following local cooling centers are scheduled to open: (Note: Additions to this list are notated by an asterisk.)

Coventry Coventry Senior Center; 50 Wood St.; Wed., 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Thurs., 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Cranston Cranston Senior Center; 1070 Cranston St.; Wednesday until 5 p.m. Central Library; 140 Sockanosset Cross Rd.; Wednesday until 8 p.m.

East Greenwich Swift Gym, 111 Pierce St.; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. East Greenwich Police Department community room; 176 1st Ave.; 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.

Exeter Town Library; 773 Ten Rod Road; 2 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
